CHAS Compliancy
PowerflushUK is now CHAS compliant. After an extensive assessment of policies, procedures and practices by accredited assessors, PowerflushUK has been added to the Government's register of compliant companies. (See the Assessor's letter, January 2012)
CHAS is a Government scheme that builds a register of compliant companies so that "buyers" - large companies, Government agencies such as the NHS and Local Authorities can award contracts to companies without the tedium of checking their credentials. CHAS recognises, amongst many topics, that contactors have valid insurance, an environmental policy, an asbestos policy and have relevant safety training (CSCSC)
