These products are very sophisticated and well engineered and work very well indeed. However, service and repair engineers will often take one look in airing cupboards and when they see these units, refuse to touch them!

This is not surprising really as they are very complicated pieces of equipment and they all function slightly differently - some can have up to three pumps! In hard water areas the hot water coil may need descaling as well.
